Day 4 - Tuesday November 25, 2003

Woke up late again today, around 12:30 not too bad.  First thing we did was go to the ATV place.  This was so much fun you have no idea!  We rode the ATVs over some hills and through some fields and farms.  Next we started our journey to the dead sea.  We stopped at a rest stop near the sea of galilee and had some schwarma and a crepe and I dropped a bottle of vanilla ice and it shattered all over the floor.  We contemplated picking up a hitchhiker.  We had quite an adventure going through the west bank to get to the dead sea.  Eran insisted on flashing his brights at all the terrorists hiding in the hills with machine guns.  We stopped in the middle of the west bank and I discovered creambo!  It is this delicious cookie treat with lots of cream and covered in chocolate.  There was a camel in the parking lot.  We finally made it through the west bank and the Israeli guards with machine guns and reached the dead sea.  It was pitch black dark and I walked up to the sea and it was really eerie.  You could see every star in the sky.  You never see that here.  Next we found a hostel where we could spend the night and there were lots of young girls having some kind of school party.  Eran tried to dance with them but the guards with machine guns scared him off.  Next we hit the local bar at a nearby resort.  I saw an Asian guy there that looked like a girl and the bartender gave us free turkey.
